Recognizing Early Signs of Pregnancy
All About Signs of Pregnancy
Early signs of pregnancy are not just one or two but as many
as ten. These signs appear around one week after conception,
when the fertilized egg implants in the uterus.
Here are some of the most common signs when expecting a
baby:
1. Light Spotting
2. More Frequent Urination
3. Elevated Body Temperature
4. Missing a Menstrual Period
5. Fatigue
6. Cramping
7. Nausea
8. Tender Nipples and Breasts
9. Darker Areolas
10. Constipation
Not everyone will experience these early signs of pregnancy. If
you do observe one or more of these or you feel pregnant even
without these signs, use a home pregnancy test and make a blood
or urine pregnancy test by the doctor.
As sooner you know about your pregnancy from the doctor as
earlier you can start taking care of yourself and prepare for
the future.
If this is your first pregnancy, you may or may not, know about
the signs of ectopic pregnancy, or tubal pregnancy. Here's a
quick review on the dangers of a ectopic pregnancy.
With ectopic pregnancy, the fertilized egg never makes it
inside the uterus. It begins to develop outside of the uterus,
mostly developing in the fallopian tube.
Left to itself, a tubal pregnancy can cause severe damage to
the fallopian tube. This can create circumstances that make it
difficult to get pregnant in the future.
Ectopic pregnancy symptoms can include vaginal bleeding, pelvic
pain, and severe abdominal pain. Other ectopic pregnancy
symptoms are quite similar to the normal signs of being
pregnant. These include nausea or morning sickness, tiredness,
a missed menstrual period, and breast tenderness. This can make
diagnosis somewhat difficult.
If it can be treated early on, then the risks to your health
and future pregnancies are greatly reduced. By keeping yourself
aware of the signs of ectopic pregnancy you can eliminate
potential health risks.
